Another thing that was special about
Uncle Dave, he was a leader when it came to getting things accomplished.
When we were able to find the grave marker of Henry Ford Henderson, deceased
older brother of Aunt Betty, Uncle Dave led the charge for us to go to
the cemetery and clean the grave marker. He brought the supplies and
helped with the work. He was very proud when we cleaned it up. The
grave marker will shine for years thanks to the efforts by Uncle Dave.
The picture to the left is of the cleaning crew at the Ponceannah Cemetery
on Highway 42 in Lake County, south of Paisley, Florida. From left to
right are Mary Henderson Houston, daughter of Theodore R. Henderson; Mary
Burjoski Henderson, wife of Theodore R. Henderson, James Henry Henderson,
son of Theodore R. Henderson; Betty Joyce Henderson Wunderlich (Aunt Betty),
and Dave Wunderlich (Uncle Dave). |
