Descendants of James Thomas Hunter

 There has been a large interaction between the Hunter families and the Henderson families with 3 of James Price Henderson's siblings marrying into the Hunter families.  Therefore it has been interesting for me to look into this families genealogical past.  Information has been provided to me by my cousin Carol Hunter Conrad and especially by my Aunt Nellie Hunter Henderson.  I am told by Aunt Nellie that James Thomas Hunter homesteaded 160 acres in southeastern Hillsborough County Florida in 1891. The family met the qualifications in 1897 and were granted the land.
