Death Certificate for Nicholas Mykola Dubiniewicz
The Death Certificate for
Nicholas Mykola Dubiniewicz. He is one of my maternal great
grandfathers. He was living at the time of death at 142 Pine Street in
Thorold Ontario Canada. His son Mike provided the information to the
doctor. He was born December 24, 1852 in Austria (Ukraine). (Note:
this birthplace and full name is subject to change once I get official
documentation from the Ukraine.) His father was Jacob Dubiniewicz
who was also born in Austria. I have been told by Lia Nieuwesteeg of
Niagara Falls, Ontario and who was a good friend of Bernice Dubiniewicz that
Nicholas and Anastozia are both buried in the old Lakeview Cemetery in
Thorold. Mrs. Nieuwesteeg was going to show Barbara and I the
gravesites the day we had to beat a retreat out of Ontario due to the
October snowstorm. A puzzle which will have to be solved is why Mike
listed that his dad had been in Canada for 30 years. I have been
researching the immigration documentation and have yet to find any
information on him.
