1910 Census of the Cedar Springs District of Cherokee County Alabama Showing Elijah Henderson and part of his family.

This image is again cropped so more detail can be seen.  In the 1910 census Elijah and his family are living in the Cedar Springs district of Cherokee County.  That name no longer exists, but using the beats and the Range and Townships from prior census, this area appears to be in the northeast part of Cherokee County near the Georgia border. Elijah is now listed at Eliza and Elizabeth is listed as Lizzie.  Nathan has married  and left home as has Sarah Rachel and Martha Missouri, but Luna, Tinnie and Willie are still at home.  One of the oddities of this census shows my grandfather James Price living at home but shown at the end which would signal he was not part of the nuclear family.  Further, he lists himself as married for two years.  The questions raised by this census will be the subject of some future research but for now it can just lay there.
