Photograph of the John A. Henderson Family with an added bonus. I recently received a copy of this photograph from my cousin Helen Searles Williams who had gotten it from Edna Durham and her collection of photographs. While it is exciting to see all of these folks, the most exciting thing to me was the picture of my great grandfather Elijah Henderson who is in the back row of this picture. Elijah was living with John at the time of the picture which we believe is ca 1912. Elijah was John's older brother. See inside for more stories on this picture. |

RECENT EVENTS:
On Saturday October 1, 2011 a surprise birthday party was held for Mary Burjoski Henderson at the home of her youngest son, Theodore Henderson near Eustis Florida. Mary (my mother) will turn 90 years old on October 5, 2011. Unfortunately, Barbara and I were unable to attend but we did call in. I have posted several pictures of Mary and her children (my brothers and sister) inside. Click here to view the pictures. Even MORE RECENT EVENTS:
The 2012 Henderson Family Reunion was held on March 24, 2012 at the home of Sam and Carol Conrad in Lithia, Florida. There was a turnout of close to 80 people. The food was excellent, the band though short in numbers was great and the comradery was excellent. I took some pictures, Carol took some pictures and Debbie took some pictures. Most of these pictures will make it to the website over the next few months. On Sunday March 25, 2012 on a beautiful Lake Yale evening, some of the Class of 59 from Umatilla High School held their annual get together at the home of Leon and Lauren Stricklen. Pictures of those attending will be posted soon. We welcomed Billy Jenkins this year and we all enjoyed the annual Leon stories. Our hopes and prayers go out to Leon who is experiencing some medical difficulties.
A note to my Canadian and Ukrainian relatives. I have established a new web site; www.buchowski.org The picture of my grand mother Mary (Maria) Dubiniewcz Burjoski (Buchowski) and her family has been moved to the new site. Over the next months I will finish moving all information associated with my mother's family over to the new site.
